This trail is quite popular and is a great family hike. There are a couple of stops along the way that sport an outstanding view of the Columbia river. The compostable toilets are located in the paved parking lot at the trail head.

Note that at certain times of the year a portion is closed because Peregrine falcons are nesting.

The falls are quite lovely and make for a nice picnic destination. To get there you walk along the rim of the gorge through woods.
